How to manage roles in Knowly

We have created roles and permissions in Knowly to enable you to collaborate and work with teacher trips at different levels in your organisation. When you invite a person to your organisation, you can give them the appropriate permissions and roles. You'll be able to change the role later.
This article will explain how to set up roles in Knowly.
If you're wondering about the available roles and their permissions, please read this article first. If you would like tips on use cases for roles, you can just read this article.
To invite a new person, start by clicking on your name in the upper right corner and selecting Team Members.
Here you can see all the members of your team and their roles. You will also see the "Add Team Members" button if you have the appropriate permissions. You can click here if you'd like to add a new team member.
You must add the person's name, phone number, and email address here. Then you select the role that the person should have.
You can also add a message that, for example, explains to the recipient why they have been invited. When you're done, select to send the invitation, and an email will be sent.
The person who has been invited will then receive a link via email that leads to Knowly, where they will need to create a password.

If you invite a person as a team guest

A person who is a guest will initially only be able to see your organization without any teacher trips. When the person receives their invitation, they, like all roles, need to click on the link in the email and create a password. Then, you can assign the person guest permissions for selected teacher trips.

Go to the learning journey where you want to add a guest, select Settings and Manage Permissions. Here you can manage who can see the learning journey under the "My learning journeys" tab and, at the same time, choose to invite a guest to access the learning journey.

When adding a guest, you can also choose their permissions on the learning journey. It can either be limited or full access.
