Roles and permissions in Knowly
Roles and permissions in Knowly make it easy for you to collaborate around a learning journey and allow for people outside your organization to see only what they should see.
This article will explain each role's permissions.
There are several roles with different levels of permission. Knowly has three different levels of authorization and, therefore, three different roles.
Team owner
A team owner has the highest level of authorization in an organization. As a team owner, you can create, edit, and view other administrators' learning journeys. In addition, you also have the authorization to make settings that affect the entire team, such as language settings for the organization.
Team member
A team member can, just like a team owner, create, edit, and view other people's learning journeys. However, a team member cannot make settings that affect the entire team and organization.
Team guest
A team guest has the lowest authorization level. They need to be added by an owner or a member in each learning journey they're supposed to have access to, meaning that they do not see any learning journey that they have not been actively added to. For each learning journey they're given access to, the owner or member who grants them access decides whether they should have editing rights or only viewing rights.
Guest with view-only rights: Cannot edit content, but can invite participants and see stats. In being able to invite participants, they have access to searching the global participant list for the organization.
Guest with editing rights: Can do everything that a view-only guest can + edit learning journey content.
