Evaluations that are part of a Knowly learning journey

With Knowly Evaluations, you can easily create, share and analyze training evaluations that are mobile-friendly, in line with your brand and based on best practices.

You can create stand-alone evaluations and evaluations that are part of a Knowly learning journey.

A typical case for using this feature is when you want to send out an evaluation to your participant group either between training sessions or at the end of the program. Then you can easily add the evaluation to the timeline of the learning journey and schedule it as a mailing to your participants. 

Follow the steps below to create an evaluation as part of a learning journey.

1. Navigate to the current learning journey and add an evaluation by clicking on (1) learning journeys at the top of the menu bar, (2) add new (3) evaluation.

An evaluation will get created at the bottom of your timeline. Click on it, and you will be taken directly to the evaluation editor. There you have the opportunity to choose from creating an evaluation from scratch, using a Knowly template or an evaluation created by someone else in your organisation. 

2. Then, create your evaluation in the evaluation editor. Add, remove or change elements in your evaluation. Read more here about what functions are available.

3. You can change the invitation text in the email / SMS. You do this directly in the evaluation editor on the left of the structure.

4. When you are satisfied with your creation of the evaluation and have changed the invitation text, it is time to share it with your participants. When the evaluation is part of a learning journey, you schedule the activity in the same way as you schedule the other activities in the learning journey. Click on the relevant group of participants and select schedule in the menu on the left. Then find the evaluation and choose between three options for distribution to the participants: 

• Schedule invitation 
• Share via link
• QR code 
  

All recipients use the same link to access the evaluation. It differs from a micro-training where all recipients receive unique links. Having only one link provides more sharing options. In addition to sending an invitation, the evaluation can be shared by sharing the link or QR code in another communication channel (just like stand-alone evaluations).

5. You can easily see responses from participants if you click on evaluations in the menu bar on the left. You can sort the answers based on the question or the respondent. The summary can easily be shared with others externally via an Online report. Click on "Generate online report" to get the summary on a unique link you can share with whoever you want (the link is open to everyone and is not limited by whether you have a Knowly account or not). The possibility to respond to the evaluation as a participant is open as long as the administrator keeps the evaluation open in the top right corner
